MEET OUR

WEDDING PARTY

Calli_edited.jpg

Calli Aust

MATRON OF HONOR

What started as a friendship of convenience some 13 years ago {Alison had a car, Calli was only 14} quickly turned into one of endless sleepovers, late night chatting and truly precious relationship. A fierce lover of Jesus and my style icon, Calli continues to speak truth into my life regularly and exemplifies love without abandon. Even when we're not giving identical responses in perfect unison, she remains my best friend forever and ever.

Erin Foote

BRIDESMAID

Seven years ago, Erin and I made fast friends when we became coworkers at Frontier. Over those years, we have found that our brains think on the same wavelength and our personalities are often reflections of one another. Some of our favorite times spent together are those relaxing in our comfy clothes with no agenda, aside from eating popcorn. Our 40 hours together every week has yet to make us tired of friendship or leave us with nothing to say.

Katie Steffes

BRIDESMAID

As friends at Big Horn High School, Katie’s brilliant humor and infectious smile were always some of my favorite qualities in her. Since that time, she’s continued to impress me with her killer dance moves and uncanny knowledge of “Friends” trivia. Katie is always up for a grand adventure, and our trip to visit Olivia in North Carolina still remains one of my fondest memories, warm Lime-A-Ritas, belting out Sam Smith lyrics on repeat and all.

Olivia Feaster

BRIDESMAID

From daycare pals as young girls to high school classmates and now lifelong friends, Olivia has been a part of my world for as long as I can remember. Her witty remarks make laughter come easy, but the depth of her friendship goes far beyond that. She hasn’t quite convinced me that beets are worth eating, but we still talk about my first time trying peaches and blueberries just seven years ago. Through each season of life, Olivia remains a constant for me.

Katie Shellenberger

BRIDESMAID

Fortunately for me, becoming a part of Jared’s life has also meant Katie becoming a part of mine. She has encouraged in me a willingness to be more spontaneous, and she consistently pours into my life by exemplifying Christ’s character. Her easy-going spirit and genuine kindness are not to be mistaken for weakness – she also has a beautiful strength about her. Beyond all this, the best part is that our years of friendship have only just begun.

KayLee Stidham

BRIDESMAID

After knowing each other through church for a while, something finally sparked KayLee and I to transition to friends. It was likely when I trusted her to cut my hair with only a mild threat. From there, our relationship grew seemingly overnight and became filled with morning workouts, movie dates, entertaining TikToks and meaningful conversation. KayLee’s move to Hawaii has only made our bond sweeter as we find new ways to cultivate our friendship.

Katey Van Hoosier

BRIDESMAID

Yet another friendship born in the halls of Big Horn, Katey and I spent most Saturday evenings together early in high school. Perhaps our favorite weekend activity was making chocolate chip pancakes at midnight. Years later, we became roommates when Katey moved in with me after college. Though we could go for days without seeing one another, it always felt natural to share life together. Today, I still appreciate her authenticity and ability to listen well.

Robyn Cooksey

BRIDESMAID

Although I only had the privilege of meeting Robyn when Jared and I started dating, it has been a joy getting to know her and seeing how she and Jared interact as siblings. Her selflessness as a wife and mother is apparent and something I look up to already. I certainly don’t mind her delicious baking either. While Robyn is not one of many words, she always speaks with thoughtfulness, a quality that I admire and look forward to learning from in years to come.

Brooklyn Wright

FLOWER GIRL

Perhaps the most beautiful ranch girl we know, Brooklyn is equally happy being covered in mud or getting dressed up in her fanciest outfit for a party. She is absolutely fearless and loves animals of all types, insects included. We’re still not sure she has come around to speaking to Jared on a regular basis, but when she forgets to be shy, she’s full of great stories. Always the first to volunteer when it's time to make milkshakes, she knows the way to her Aunt Alison’s heart.

Riley Cooksey

FLOWER GIRL

The one who made Jared an uncle, Riley has been a special part of his life since arriving nearly five years ago. Alison and Riley also bonded quickly upon meeting and now enjoy reading books, playing Barbies and jumping on the trampoline. Thanks to Riley, Jared can recite almost every line of Moana. Riley's spunky attitude keeps us on our toes and always makes for a fun time, but tucking her into bed remains our favorite.

Dillon Shellenberger

BEST MAN

A friendship that started with a knockout. Dillon and I roomed together in Laramie, where we put on countless miles of late-night walking to visit our favorite establishments, often accompanied by good conversation. Over the years, I've found I can talk to him about anything and count on him when I need him. We've made countless memories on hunting and ski trips, yet I always look forward to the next.

Jim Shellenberger

GROOMSMAN

After meeting on a flight to Australia the summer before we started college, it didn't take long to realize how great of a friend Jim would be. When Jim first moved to Sheridan, I had no idea I would follow shortly behind and that he would eventually introduce me to my future wife. Our time in Sheridan has brought lots of excitement, from buying our first homes to Jim getting married and now my own wedding. I'm glad to experience all of it with Jim.

Nate Laible

GROOMSMAN

Nate and I met on the same flight to Australia. Within a couple days of being there, he asked me, basically a complete stranger, to be his roommate in the dorms that fall. Our friendship grew quickly as we experienced living in the worst dorm on campus together. From there, I became a student of Nate's high-stress hunting academy, but ultimately, many of my best hunting experiences have included Nate.

Brecken Biggs

GROOMSMAN

Another roommate from over the years, Brecken has always kept things entertaining. From late-night grease fires to being a part of his wedding, we've experienced a lot together. I've seen Brecken transform from a college kid with a slight video game addiction to a married man, perhaps still with a slight video game addiction. Brecken's funny and supportive personality make for a dependable lifelong friend.

Jake2.jpg

Jake Homer

GROOMSMAN

As I was adopted into the Casper crew in college, Jake became yet another close friend. Since then, we've experienced many adventures together from skiing to backpacking. We could always count on Jake to be the daring one on skis, testing out the things we weren't quite sure of ourselves. Being a husband and a father haven't stopped Jake from being a great friend, and I value the examples he sets in those areas.

Taylor Heaps

GROOMSMAN

Taylor and I first met as coworkers but now consider one another friends. As two engineers, we are both men of few words, yet our common interests of hunting and outdoor activities have grown our friendship. Whether it's exploring the Bighorn Mountains or prototyping vacuum parts, we always find a way to enjoy our time together. Twelve mile hikes to find elk sheds and early morning deer hunting before work are just normal adventures for us.

Matthew_edited.jpg

Matthew Wigglesworth

GROOMSMAN

Before Alison and I were together, Matthew and I crossed paths a time or two, understandable in a town of Sheridan's size. As Alison's brother, he was naturally protective of her, but sharing a few beers together made him a little more willing to invite me into the family. We continue to enjoy our time together as often as we can see each other, whether practicing on the gun range or conquering all the escape rooms the three of us find.

Jared Cooksey

GROOMSMAN

As a part of my life since he and my sister started dating, Jared and I have had many years of getting to know one another. We could often be found playing video games, working on trucks or fishing at the lake together. Jared even helped teach me how to drive, and we still enjoy talking about trucks when we see each other now. Us having the same name has lead to a few confusing moments, but it's been worth it to have him as part of our family.

Bentley1_edited.jpg

Bentley Wright

RING BEARER

I think it’s safe to say that Bentley is the best birthday gift Alison has received to date! Born on her 21st birthday and the first to make her an aunt, he has been brightening her life with his blonde hair and sweet smile ever since. Although he and Jared are equally as quiet, Alison enjoys Bentley’s personality as the oldest sibling and a very responsible one, at that. With their recent move closer to town, we can’t wait to see Bentley and the family more often!

Briggs_edited.jpg

Briggs Wright

RING BEARER

Being the youngest of his siblings, it’s only natural that Briggs is stronger than most of us and not afraid to throw a punch. Despite his bit of wild, he still manages to give the best hugs and has a soft side to even things out. His giggles are infectious, and he’s hardly shy, making for lots of fun when he’s around. As Briggs starts school in the fall, we hope there will be plenty of football games, music concerts and other activities to take in over the years.
